Was out watching it in Hurghada Marina and then walked into Sekalla, a proper carnival atmosphere with no booze or trouble in sight.

Even managed to get face painting done for free

Got some vids of it all, will post soon either here or on FB X

I rode into Dahar afterwards and partied there, then rode around with the maniacs in the pickups and on bikes
