Soon its the Spring Festival in China, I have seen the rehearsals, look brilliant. Hope that CCTV will put the big spectacular on. Wish I was there now to see the start of "Year of the RABBIT" and buy one of the lovely gold rabbit neckaces - -

Yesterday I was at an Ethnic Days Celebration. Many of the different cultural groups were represented however one of the first dances there was from Buddhist Youth from Viet Nam who did a dance to usher the Old Year out and welcome IN the New Year

I believe it was call a Dragon Dance. This was the head of the Dragon



This was the young men dancing



And this was a group of girls doing another traditional dance from Viet Nam that used fans. All of the clothing was super nice too
