Things you love about the UK

ive just started this topic on the Blue side, so what things do we love about the UK
I said i loved the countryside and some of our older seaside towns. :)
How about you guys?

The shops, the countryside, fish 'n' chips by the seaside, autumn evenings in the park, my friends and family although only sometimes lol

Now I'm living in the US, the only thing I miss about the UK is the NHS!
Having to pay a fortune for medical treatment here sucks!
Oh... and I love old-fashioned English country pubs!!!

Yeah I know someone who moved to the US and came back due to the expense! :?

Old country pubs is a fab one, especially sitting outside...hhhmmmm....

Ohhh yes of course.... and my daughter!!!
Sitting outside a country pub with my daughter and husband on a lovely sunny day, having a cool shandy........ perfect!!!

Yes and what about the Bailey's and Tia Maria,sausage rolls,pork with crackling.treacle tart,snow at xmas,xmas pud,but i suppose most of these are covered by the supermarket.Hurghada has come on leaps and bounds remember when we had to have furniture made as almost no shops sold european stuff and only supermarket was abu ashara in sakalla which wasn't the best and remember trawling the shops looking for baked beans and flora marg.happy days :) HL

LOL HP, I do remember, another thing I miss is forcing you into the kitchen to make pate every week God, I miss your pate!

Remember when I made my brother bring over a joint of pork so I could have the crackling and when it came to cooking it you were ill and couldn't eat it LOL! :lol: More for me ;)
