Ah yes... the dreaded vuvuzelas!!
I don't undewrstand the attraction of sitting blowing a stupid horn for 2 hours....especially as everyone else is doing the same thing!!
I'm fed-up with Corrie being put off..... and sick of 'octopus predictions'!!
that octopus is redundant now.... he'd be nice fried, with garlic!!

Eating octopus doesn't sound so cruel if you call it calamari!!
I'm the same as Zulie, Cocoa.... I love animals!!
if an animal looks like an animal.... I can't even consider eating it...
eg, trout served on a plae with head, tail eyeballs, the lot! (My ex used to cook it like that!!)
But shove the same fish in a load of batter with a pile of chips.... YUM!!! :
Susue, Calamari is squid, which I love also, but it doesn't compare with Octopus.
Octopus can be very difficult to cook and in my opinion, the Greeks are the ones that have got it down to a fine art. It's a bit upsetting watching the fisherman slamming them aganist the wharf though - "to tenderise them" they say - it's actually their way of killing it and remmoving the outer skin.
I love animals too, especially fried, grilled, baked or barbecued

Are you trying to sound all butch and heartless again??!?!??!?! Honestly it would be more believable if you hadn't had two of the soppiest cuddliest and friendliest cats that I have ever met!Netyoda wrote:Susue, Calamari is squid, which I love also, but it doesn't compare with Octopus.

And note to self..never sit in a bar near the wharf in Greece when the fisherman come in....
