Post by Christine »

Did you get ready for the festive season yet, what kind of Christmas are you all planning, mine is traditional Turkey, a good smoked gammon, all the trimmings.
The tree is done, and twinkling, most of the gifts are wrapped, the outside resembles a small version of Blackpool illuminations, but hell its Christmas, and i bought some good Port, Wine and Brandy today, so what are you all doing with your'e forthcoming week-end.
Oooooh i forgot, we are having a bit of a bash for New Year too, so all in all not too shabby ;)

Yesterday we spent the day wrapping pressies to take to England....
Today I packed my stuff for our big trip to Sri Lanka and the far east.
I hate packing to go away.... it takes me a whole day and stresses me out!
British Airways has a decent lugage allowance so we're ok there...
The Sri Lanka and Far East airline (Jet airways) also has a decent allowance, but we'll be doing local flights in the far East between Vietnam, Cambodia, etc.... I think the allowances are a lot smaller!
Oh well..... only a few days before we go... and totally looking forward to spending Christmas and new year with my daughter...
then our 3 month adventure....
We'll be back at the end of March. :D

Happy Christmas to all my friends on this forum!!! x8) x:)) x;)
