Tourist prices increases at attractions

ADMISSION FEES INCREASE

It is announced that the admission fees all over Egypt will increase from November. Also, the fee for the Sound & Light Show in Temples of Karnak in Luxor, will go up from EGP75 to EGP100, which will be effective on January 1, 2009.

They bloody would wouldn't they because thats when I'm coming over.

However, this time I have a student card so will get a reduced rate.

Are they making a new sound and light show? I hated the old one, never been so bored in all my life!

Back in June when i took my niece and her friend to the sound and light show at Karnak,a few people were asking about if it was the new show with lasers

What are they changing about it then? Wasn't the narrator Richard Burton in the old one or maybe the present one?

I believe they are meant to be adding lighting effects etc to the end bit where you sit by the sacred lake as well as revamping the whole thing
