Ah! Edwin eer I mean Edmund Blackadder, that slimy backstabbing git played by Rowan Atkinson, absolutely wonderful and any actor who was prepared to have such a crap haircut for the sake of a TV role must be good.

Know what you mean S4M, I cried at the book and the film.

The book always seems better to me, Da Vinci Code film was no where near as good as the book, although I thought the ending in both book and film was weak.

The characters they used in the series don't match the picture I have of them in my head when reading the book. I haven't read the Da vinci Code, I didn't enjoy the film much.

Just remembered another oldie but can't remember the name, I loved it and couldn't wait for the next episode, so someone please put me out of my misery I'll be racking my brain all day otherwise....it was Richard Chamberlain as a Samuri ....the last Samuri keeps coming to mind but that was a movie with Tom Cruise - was it the same title ????
