If you could turn back time where and or who would you be?
If I could go back in time I would love to be in Luxor or should I say Thebes when the Pharohs were there and live a while there then come forwad to the first archeoloigcal dig and be part of that. I think it would have been hard, but also great
People often ask me this question and my answer is always the same: depends on if the machine goes both ways! Some of those places would be great to have a look around - like Medieval England - but I'd hate to get stuck there forever!
I'd go back to when I was 15 with the knowledge that I have now and then I'd change the direction I took in life....and I'd like to re-visit past lives to see who I was and what I did!
I'm not afraid of tomorrow cos I've seen yesterday
I'd like to go back and avoid a major operation at 17 that affected my life, but would my life be any better? Who can say. Otherwise, like Goddess, the machine would have to work both ways because I like where I am now. Going back to see all the ancient wonders of the world when they were new would be amazing. Hold on , does it include going back with the winning lottery numbers?????????
But I loved the series Life on Mars, where he went back to the 70's, or was it all a dream.
I would like to be Carter when he found King Tut's tomb, how amazing it was to see them in the Egyptian museum and the feeling that came over me when i saw his death mask i can only imagine wat it was like crawling into the tomb for the first time...
My Standard Poodle, Oscar died 27th July 1996 and then my Mother a couple of months later. Under the circumstances I think both deaths could have been avoided, although people say it's fate.
