Reading a Newsweek article about what might happen to Guantanamo Bay, the US base in Cuba where accused terrorists are currently being held. After January 20, Gitmo is Obama's problem.
One problem is that the home countries of some of these prisioners will not accept them back. Others would be subject to torture if returned. The article suggests some kind of European resettlement program might be negotiated. How would that go over in the European heartland?

At a certain age, everyone has baggage. It's just a matter of carrying it with grace.
Not sure most Americans knew it was there either until that prison suddenly became news. I'm sure you could goggle it. I think it was there before Castro took over.
