Went for a walk the other day and we stopped for lunch at a country pub, we had fresh sliced ham on the bone on brown granary bread with a Branston pickle salad, yum yum To go with it Mrs H had a bitter shandy and I had a pint of Marston's Pedigree Bitter and it was gorgeous, you must try a pint while your in the UK Goddess
Hello Mr Music
that lunch sounds lovely.
Do you enjoy real ale?
Where we live you can buy Horndean Special Bitter, knocks ya socks off, but a very good pint.
They brew it not far from us and there are some lovely walks nearby to have a good lunch to accompany it.
The real ales also brewed in this area, are Specled hen. Bishops finger.etc.
A beer drinkers heaven i should think.
Im more ya scotch and soda, red wine tyoe myself.(hic!!)
