: you got that really quickly, but for those that did not get the clues they were:

A life jacket is often called a 'Mae West' a reference to her boobs.

And a nasty occurrence when parachute cords get tangled in a particular way and creates a double bulge in the canopy, is refereed to as a Mae West.
