Apart from 'La' and 'Shokran' - what was the first Egyptian word you started to say.....

I think mine was 'Minfadlak/Minfadlik' :)

Pretty sure my first word was Aywa, obviously that's where it all went wrong - should have started with La!

I have started to use the word 'muflissa' alot....... meaning 'broke'

Fil Mish Mish ~ that was the first thing I learnt after the usual, as salamalikon, Shukann, la Shukran, Ez Zayyaak etc~ Very handy phrase in Luxor and does raise a smile or two! :)

All of the above but cant remember in which order, probably la shookran and la imshee, but then we started to learn numbers wahed itnien talata etc oh and shiy(tea) my hubby is a great tea drinker.
Remeber getting my foota's and fellooses mixed up for a while but we got there in the end!! :lol:

"Mafeesh felouz" !!!!
