...Laylat-ul-Barat in the UK.
This is the fifteenth of Sha’baan and it is believed by Muslims that in this night you should be attentive in the worship of Allah, for this is the night of accounting.
Whichever child is to be born during the coming year is written down on a list on this night, and the name of whoever is going to pass away in the coming year is deleted from the list. This 'list' is the book of deeds I believe.
We celebrate by cooking certain special foods and distributing these to friends and family, reciting extra prayers and some people get new clothes.
In Pakistan, India and Iran, lamps are light by graves and sometimes there may even be firework displays.
Is this celebrated in Egypt and if so, how??

This is Laylat-ul-Barat, this is the fifteenth of Sha’baan, a very great night. In this night you should be attentive in the worship of Allah, for this is the night of accounting. Whichever child is to be born during the coming year is written down on the list on this night, and the name of whoever is going to pass away in the coming year is deleted from the list.
Laylatul Baraat & Laylatul Qadr are both different nights,
Laylatul Baraat is on the 13,14, & 15 of Shaban whereas Laylatul Qadr is in the last 10 days of Ramadan.
