Work, work and more bloody work and hassle and then going home to millions of guests all wanting to be fed and their bratty kids going to my room and being nosy, how rude!

Lee not lecturing you or owt but lugging furniture round wont help your wrist, leave it for a day or so and let the sprain have a fighting chance hon xx

It's all got to be done though and one on one's own has to do it oneself.

All the major lugging is done, just sorting through thousands of CDs and DVDs (computer stuff), paperwork, knick knacks, kitchen stuff etc now.

NG, was looking at 26/1 for a flight date ... is bro coming for 1 or 2 weeks?

Re: December Apartment : is it a place with a pool? With the price of hotels I was thinking of getting a cheap AI (found one for £212 for 2 weeks) to use as a relaxation base. Where's the apartment based?

I have someone coming out with me to carry my guitar as hand luggage

so hopefully Melanie will kindly store that for me along with my dive gear.

Lol I wish I had a "fetch me carry me"

Thomas cook have stated that the guitar can be taken in lieu of hand luggage, which sort of messes up me bringing my laptop too.

Christine, sorry I haven't answered and you Pat......just been so hectic with friends staying and going out at night.

Ollie, is better than he was one of the infections has cleared and Daniel's inflammation is better also. Zac, well what can I say about Zac except he is so bloody naughty !!! He has become a teenager with raging hormones I think, poor Daniel is constantly being licked or having a paw shoved in his back or being barked at, at least he is ignoring it all but it's driving me mad

Ollie has turned out to be a chewer, he has gone through two pairs of Binti's shoe's while she was here and also Nilegoddess left her new bra on the table and that went for a burton also

Im glad that Ollie is on the mend, its rotten when they are poorly isnt it.
Well this bloody puppy is never going to reach adulthood, she already thinks her name is "NO!"
She has quit with the new minimalist image she was trying to create for our house, and has stopped chewing and moving the furniture around!!
She has now become a collector, oh yes, we are now collecting, socks, any socks dosent matter whose , no matter the colour, no matter the design, no matter whether they are clean or dirty

And........... Im just trying to figure out where the hell to hang my 3 xmas trees, because by the time the festive season is upon us my little wrecker, no not the pup the grandaughter, will be 11 months old and crawling all over the floor,pulling herself up on anything handy, the pup will be charging about like a loon, ears creating a typhoon as they flap about all over her head

and then of course there is alan bless him doddering about on his sticks

....................... oh happy days!!!!!

How many of them did you get HL? Sounds like you have a menagerie going on there now!

I need my laptop in December too, can't cope without it lol although I may leave my netbook over there with the guitar and my diving equipment.

NG - sounds good, I'll get flight dates/times and cost and let you know - either 26th or 28th as the Cairo-Hurghada flight doesn't have any 1st class seats left on the 26th

Well not wanting to be left out, Lee and NG I mite be comin to Egypt in December! Still not sure but once I get an idea in my head it usually happens! Plan is a few days in Cairo and a few days relaxing somewhere. I would really like to go to Aswan but getting there is tricky and I have seen cheaper hotel deals in Hurghada. Lee what have you found? Tell me where you found your bargain AI deals please!
Plan is me and the kids AND my Mum and Dad and maybe even my husband!!!! LOL but he's just had a month in Egypt so he might have to stay behind to dog sit!!! Have n't bought flights yet but I'm looking. Mite have to just stay in flat though to save pennies as there will be so many of us!
NG I mite even go back to the building site with the wild dogs flat if it's available!!!!

Lee read the reviews for the Roma on Tripadvisor

and you do not need to book first class with egypt air to get good baggage allowance as they are not strict at all

last time i flew i had 30kg and they never batted an eyelid.

Your post about your house at Christmas sounds like mine all year round with three kids, a mad dog and an Egyptian husband!!!

And as for green eyed why do you think I am looking for flights and bargains? Can't find any bargains though.
Would n't normally be going at this peak time but my Mum really wants another trip to Egypt and she did n't get a proper holiday this summer as she was on chemo and I think she deserves a break!
Don't know if Hurghada is really her cup of tea though but I reckon that's where I'm most likely to get a good deal.

Oh so are you going first class to get extra baggage. I would n't bother. I saw the First class when I flew EgyptAir to Luxor. It did n't look any different from the rest of the plane apart from they were separated from the rest of us with a curtain! It made me laugh.
That sounds a good deal but I will have a look at TRipAdvisor. I think we will only be there for upto a week but still think we might need to go budget and be in a flat as there will be at least 6 if not 7 of us!!!!

Very true Claire about Egyptair and their idea of first class not worth paying the extra just to sit behind a curtain

Think you might get better cheap deals to Sharm rather than Hurghada
