And Christine I've lived through every visit, stamp, knock back, recall...just at the end of a PC...and sometimes more than once...
Hehe, I can remember my eye and chest exam. The photo's I had used were spare passport ones which had to be without my specs on.
We went to the local Doctora and sat in the waiting room for about 10 minutes, suddenly Hassan, Our landlord, rushed out of the office and said "quick take off your glasses". I did so and then she looked round the door, smiled and greeted me in English then turned back in. 5 minutes later I had my medical exam papers signed and we were on the way. By the way, I was told she had looked round the door because I could not see her as I am very short sighted

wev have deceided to stay here for a couple more years and save like mad then we wont have to worry about finding jobs out there,mjust sit back and enjoy the view (so to speak).
