Hi NG
Hurghada's ready and waiting for you!
Don't feel pressured about the apt, I love it but there is the added cost of furnishing it. As I intend to stay here then it's not too much of a chore to collect my own.

Hi Suesue!
Thanks so much for all the good wishes, I really appreciate them and REALLY need them as I walked out of work yesterday and I am never going back as my self respect doesn't allow me to be treated so badly. Sod the gits.
However, that does mean that my finances have gone really wrong and I have not much at all to come out with
so please send all the good thoughts this way everyone!!
You're right when you say its literally the final countdown now, next few weeks is meeting up with my friends and then I have to travel the length and breadth of the UK to see family and family friends as we always try and visit one another of we are about to embark on any sort of long term journey, you never know whether you will see one another again and its basically to ask for forgiveness if you have done anything wrong unintentionally and to get some blessings for your future plans.
Also plan on spending lots of time with my immediate family at home which will be nice especially as its Christmas soon and will be nice and cosy to sit around the fire, watch the naff telly, LOVE IT!
Glad to hear your op went well, shame about the cold, its the same over here, rained all bleeding day yesterday and was freezing and we have snow forcasted for beginning Friday I think so that cosy feeling will definitely be enhanced lol.
Lee, I'm the sort that needs to check every nook and cranny before I buy a pair of shoes so imagine what I will be like for an apartment lol, I trust you have got what you like and hope its fab but I'm not as trusting as you and a lot more gobby so I will be checking, bartering and blagging lol. Hope we get to be neighbours but we'll see. I don't have the money to buy furniture and even if I did, I wouldn't buy it, too much hassle and too much to be tied with and my plans are flitting so I don't want any comitements of any sort.
Karenh, hiya lovey, hope you're doing ok. Thanks so much for your kind words, I've missed being on here but I have been just spending time at home, various things happened so was nice to be with the family.
And now my reply has gone on for so long, I can't remember what else I needed to reply to
will go and check and reply, think I need to also say hi and thanks to Claire but can't remeber what else!
Love from me xxxx

Hiya MG,
no worries if you don't like the apartment, i'm sure we'll keep in touch anyway.
it's eating into my budget for the furniture, but I figure I'm saving £100/month on what i would have paid for an apt like this so that's fine.
It's not actually in Dahar per se, the area is called el criadette, very handy for everything as well

Where exactly is that area Lee? Government shop in Dahar always good for bedding and no bartering as all fixed price,it's the big building where all the buses stop and has steps going up to it,also very cheap.

Sorry to hear that hun, wishing him a speddy recovery and you need to rest yourself as just reading all that has made me worn out!
Dad suffers with his heart, hes only just 50 but smokes like a chimney, loves red meat and doesn't know the meaning of exercise, hes a bugger.

Thanks Karenh x
Isn't it frustrating Chris? I have argued, reasoned with him, hidden his fags after raiding the house for hidden stashes, all sorts but to no avail.
And don't even get me started on all the nutrition and exercise plans I am constantly thinking up but he just doesn't listen!

Thanks KH
NG I am in the same boat, Alan is a renal and heart patient and i gave up years ago of trying to make him eat well,he picks at stuff then snacks on all the wrong foods and wonders why his arteries are all blocking, no im not going to get started either, its just not worth it as ive been getting all fired up about these issues with himself for years!!!

Sometimes the harder you try to help the further away they stray from the help ~ When i was nursing i was told this by an old school matron and have found it so true especially when dealing with loved ones.
My mother was just the same so in the end i just made sure that whatever happened that she was happy and now tht is what carries me through at times when i think of her.
NG and Christiine keep smiling they appreicate you both im sure and at least they can be cantankerous mature men!
