A little off mi rocker??

Post by Christine »

I may have lost a few marbles, whats the reason you ask? well its because 2 days ago on the spur of the moment i decided that we should get another puppy
So off we trotted all of us to the puppy rescue place in Poole, and came across a 6month old Huskie/Collie cross who had been abandoned then rescued but didnt even have a name poor little sod, so she is now living with us and our other VERY large baby rottie thinks she is very nice, in fact Cocoa thinks our new baby is her latest toy
So now i have to do all the wee training again just as i had got Cocoa clean, chewing thing is on again grrr, so im retraining her on that as well, and trying to find a food that the little cow will actually deign to eat!!!
So yep i think i must have lost a few marbles making my snap decision, but she is lovely, she is affectionate, and playfull, oh and she has a name at last, she is Saskia. :) :)

Chris I see where you're coming from!
Every saturday our local Petsmart has an adoption day... lots of sooooo cute dogs, in little cages... all wanting to come home with me!
Mr M often has to drag me away like a 3-year old in a toyshop.... reminding me that if we have pets we can't travel!

I've been without pets now ever since I left Egypt..... had pets all my life until then!
We even fostered a little blind dog for a few months... just to satisfy my mothering instinct!
When we're too old and feeble to travel... we'll fill the house with dogs and cats again..... M wants a big yellow dog (labrador) and Iwant a little mongrel thing....... our day will come! :)

I've managed to avoid the temptation so far, but if anyone knows of a couple of Maine Coons anywhere then I'll take them ;)
