If you were stranded on a desert island with a group, what do you think you could contribute to the group's survival?

Do you have practical skills that can be put to use?

A meal, I don't have any practical skills so they would probably eat me

Well I know how to make makuti roofing, so at least I would have shelter. I'm not a bad at fishing. Not sure about starting a fire though without 3 gallons of petrol!

Being an ex nurse & don't mind getting my hands dirty I could help look after cuts & bruises! and help with getting food or shelter.

I'm a good cook if someone else can bring in fish. I'm resourceful and creative about finding new uses for things so could set up a good shelter. I am comfortable in the woods, unlike my girls, who are city girls and who think camping indicates mental instability.

I'm a Magyver in the making :) Pretty sure I'd deal with it just fine :)

I can catch fish with my teeth, so again adding to the food source! I would be a good shoulder to lean on in terrible times. I am creative so would make flower arrangements from the local fawner and decorate the camp, I would invent games and challenges to keep us occupied and entertained, build a boat to source other item's, hopefully there would be a Domino's Pizza on another island i could sail to and get ingredients for when i return and make a real pizza for you all to eat, whilst drinking the ice cold beer i got from the shop next door to it.

But then we could just sail and stay on that island?

I would encourage everyone to eat raw fish. like on the boat trip, while searching out edible fruits etc to make delicious meals out of. Once we'd got the fire going I'd keep it going, finding firewood etc, and I'd be very positive. If pushed I can be quite practical, honestly.

The ability to choose 8 gramophone records, a book and a luxury with no practical use whatsoever. :)

Well, considering I can't cook and don't eat fish, will not swim in the sea in case a fish comes near me, so far I have worked out I can.....test the shelter with makuti roofing to make sure it's comfortable while looking at the decorative fawner. Play the games and take on the challenges, eat the fruit while listening to the gramophone records and wait patiently for T7R to finish the book!
