Whose face was that I saw in the mirror this morning?
Surely it couldn't have been mine!
When did the bags under my eyes resemble an outsize shopping bag? When did my skin acquire so many wrinkles?
When did my eyes lose their bright green colour?
If anyone in Hurghada sees a young woman, 5' tall, very slim build, blonde hair with no bags, no wrinkles and bright green eyes - please contact me immediately. She has stolen my body.

I wouldn't mind so much if I had been out having a good time Hurghada Lady.
I will jsut have to put it down to having a hard paper round when I was younger.

Its strange isnt it ~ you feel the same inside and enjoy things you always did and in some cases feel more confident and THEN ...............you look in the mirror and this older person (in my case spitting image of my mother) is looking back at you!!!! ~ Spooky I ten wonder where all the years have gone and where all the wrinkles came from :worry:

Oh so you have no 'character' in your face then? I keep trying to convince myself that it is because I laugh so much that I have so many wrinkles.
Not sure I am convincing myself though.
Know what you mean about not feeling your age, I firmly believe in acting my shoe size.

Think we went slightly over the top that night morning, think we were pushing it to get home at 11.30am considering we only popped out for "one" the night before!

Well beauty lies within, sod what's on the outside, ban mirror's then you don't have to look at it.
I am very old and very wrinkly...only joking, washboard stomach, youthful looks... I wish

I find being short-sighted is helpful, sort of the equivalent of a soft-focus lens!!

I used to think the same. The other night I was admiring my legs in the mirror from about 3 metres away. Then I went to watch tv so put my specs on - but remembered left my mobile in the bedroom so went back in bedroom with my specs on and actually got to see my legs in the mirror ..... Was quite disheartening!
