I have my fingers crossed that I will win the lottery, I will go out and buy all the sheep and give them a good home!

I thought it was Monday too.
Apparently Carrefour has been a bit scrum like the last few days with hoardes of people descending on the spuds, onions and meat counters! I'm waiting til it's all over before I do any shopping.

Today while I was out and about I saw all the animals going for days out in the backs of trucks. Sitting outside one butchers I saw a big buffalo ...... and (sob) a baby buffalo curled up asleep.

I also had a horrific walk through a market street: I was doing ok with the sides of beef swinging into my face as I walked - but came a bit of a cropper at the suspended head. Even worse was the skin free version.

Feel a bit green at the thought typing this ... so I'll scoot off again!

I was a bit upset myself Spike. I'm used to walking through markets - but I've never really visited a local one a few days before Feast started - so I've learnt a huge big lesson. Won't be doing that ever again - could hardly sleep at the thought of it all.
