Oh Spike that would be absolutely great and very much appreciated. Please tell whoever is bringing them that I really am grateful.
Goddess - When I lived in Luxor I had no problems in receiving things from the UK but for the past 4.1/2 years since coming to Hurghada nothing ever seems to arrive. Still awaiting delivery of my Birthday Cards from 2005!!!!! What chance do Oxo Cubes have of arriving?

Good to see we all love OXO! It's like contraband over here, is it not!
A good back up for if you ever get really desperate is to get someone to stick a few boxes in a jiffy bag and get them posted out here - works a treat!
Not always possible Goddess - I lived in 4 different apartments in hurghada.... not one had an address.
The closest I had to an address was "go up Mashrabeya street, turn right after the graveyard, and it's the green building with the pink balconies right opposite!!"
Put that on a package!

I don't know if getting a p.o. box would work here.
Again when living in Luxor we duly applied for one. A copy of Mr. C's passport had to be sent to Cairo for approval. We lived there for 10 months and then came to Hurghada. 9 months after living here, Mr. C got a phone call to say we could have a post box! So 18 months after applying we were given the privilege of renting a box, pity we had moved.
Hurghadalady, there is a site called: www.garnstudio.com they have a variety of patterns. I also have a few. Let me know what you are looking for.
