Was on the news here over the weekend about cairo being overrun with rats now that all the pigs have been slaughtered also showed a brief clip of some of the pigs just being literally scooped up with a JCB but then they said what happened after was to horrific to show as they weren't killed humanely,not often there is much on the main news here about Egypt but think it was good idea to show that but bet Mubarak was not well pleased.

What they showed here was horrific Pat.
Mubarak would have seen every detail and it didn't make him go over to Zabaleen and stop it.

I have never seen such cruelty in my life as I did that week on the pigs, and I've seen plenty cruelty here believe me.

It's sub human what these people do to animals.

Tell me about it.................Remember first time i ever went to Luxor i was horrified to see the state of some of the horses pulling the caleches and also think it was the Brooke Society had erected shelters for the horses to go under while they where waiting for business and what was happening was the drivers were putting the caleche in the shade so they could lay down and sleep while the poor horses still stood out in the sun,and see from posts on the other side there is still a problem with these horses.
