Hi NG,
Also still here.... a bit quiet on my side lately as I am stuck again in one the fase that I am fed up and thinking about leaving. So, Jujey Paris sounds lovely right now.
It is very difficult dealing with Egyptians when it comes to business and now its even worse since its Ramadan. They agree on things and don't deliver...ohhh yes if they are 3 weeks late with delivering stuff....its always "No problem.....don't worry" Well I am worried as business needs to go on...
Now waiting again on some contracts that we were suposed to recieve within 4 days which was Satureday and ofcourse until now nothing.....
Well thats what is keeping me busy at the moment and I hope this mood of me wanting to leave will change soon..........

Hello both,
Jujey, love how you call your kids brats bless ‘em, got some kids in my house and I got told off on a forum for saying the word ‘brat’s’
Well done for reading Quran more, I stripped of my nail varnish last night so that when I go home from boring work I can read some. Miss my hot pink nails though lol.
Undutchable, so sorry to hear that you’re having difficulties with the locals in terms of business etc.
Both, I am fully aware of this not following through on arrangements malarkey, 4 weeks on and my kitchen is an empty shell, two units have been part built and are just sitting there. Still got no sink or washing machine so having to hand wash everything, what fun
And these guys said that they would be done BEFORE start of Ramadan so that letting you down mentality is not an Egyptian monopoly at all.
At least theres not buckets of rain where you are
be grateful for small mercies
Chin up ladies, thinking of you, hope things improve soon and get in touch if you need a moan xxxx

NG & Jujey,
All is ok since this morning.....went to blow of some steam in the Marina yesterday and decided to forget about the business. I know I will be :mad2: again in a few days but we will deal with it then.
Jujey we have the tennis school here in Hurghada. Most of the time its fun but dealing with the Egyptians in business sucks all the energy out of you.......so I might meet you at the airport real sooonnnn. A business in Egypt can work but you need to have a really really tick skin and a lot of patience.....which I don't have
NG - Is your kitchen done.... or should I come and shout at them for you.........

Jujey,
We teach starting from 5 years so the 7 and 8 year old definately can join. We start courses again after Ramadan but we will have registration day soon. Will keep you informed and you can come and check it out. We love to help out but don't think I could handle them.......My husband is the one who does the teaching.... don't have the patience for that....
Good luck if you go ahead with the business...sure you husband will manage since he is Egytpian. You just have to keep it
